SECTION IX - FIELD AND GARDEN PRODUCE (OPEN)

(Exhibits to be staged by 9.50am)

Prize money will be paid from 3.30-4.30pm in Industrial Tent.

ENTRIES ON DAY OF SHOW

Judging commences at 10am - Entries 10p each

The marquee will be cleared of spectators at 4.30pm

1 - Best Six Pods of Peas

2 - Four Heaviest Potatoes (washed).

3 - Best Four Potatoes.

5 - Best Cabbage (quality).

6 - Best Three Beetroot.

7 - Best Lettuce.

8 - Best Four Carrots.

9 - Best Four Onions from seed

10 - Best Four Onions from Setts.

12 - Best Three Stock Turnips.

13 - Best Cucumber.

14 - Best Four Tomatoes.

15 - Best Cauliflower.

16 - Best Two Leeks.

17 - Best Six Runner Beans.

18 - Best Six Pods of Broad Beans

19 - Largest Marrow

20 - Best Four Apples

21 - Best Four Pears

22 - Best Four Plums

23 - Best Exhibit Classes 1-22, First Prize Winners Only.

Most Points in Classes 1-22. First and Second Prize-winners only, 1st 3 points, 2nd 2 points. Exhibitors with double entries will be restricted to points for their best exhibit in any one class.

Custody of the STRANG STEEL PERPETUAL CHALLENGE CUP for one year.

BEGINNERS CLASSES

Free Entry - (For any boy or girl 16 years or under.)

24 - Two Potatoes.

25 - Two Turnips.

26 - Two Beetroot.

27 - Two Onion from Setts.

28 - Largest Sun Flower Head (no stem)

For Classes 24-28 there is no entry fee.
